Brenda Bassett
Brenda Bassett joined RE/MAX Advance Realty with eight years of real estate and management experience. Brenda's strong technology and marketing background make her an exciting new member of our team. As Vice President and Director of Business Development, Brenda is consistently working on projects to help boost the productivity of the individual agents as well as the overall company. This includes marketing initiatives, streamlining procedures and systems, and in-house training for the associates. She is also responsible for managing our South Miami office, associates and staff.

Brenda began her real estate career in the IT department of a local real estate company where she learned the ropes on everything realted to real estate technology. She obtained her real estate license in 2005 and decided to transition her career focus from IT to real estate when she was offered the opportunity to work as Assistant Director of Business Development. In this position she wore many different hats, including compiling and publishing sales reports for developers, and working with many agents assigned to those projects. For the agents, she designed and provided marketing materials, market analysis, and optimal efficiency programs. She also created, directed, and designed SEO friendly condo web/blog sites for the purpose of generating new business leads.
An FIU alumnus, Brenda earned two degrees at the Ryder School of Business, one in Management Information Systems and one in Finance. She believes in continuously learning and is in the process of obtaining her Broker's license from Gold Coast Schools. She also hopes to earn her MBA by 2014.
Brenda currently resides in Miami, where she was raised since her family moved from Nicaragua when she was four years old.
Anthony Askowitz
Born and raised in Miami, Anthony Askowitz joined the Real Estate profession in 1989 after studying Entrepreneurial Management at the University of Miami. After 14 years as a Realtor-Associate Anthony became a Broker-Owner of RE/MAX Advance Realty in 2003. One year later he became the Managing Broker of two offices.
